Thursdays afternoon workshops for children. This course is designed for kids from 6 y.o to 12 y.o. The course is in French & English
This mini-course is suitable for beginners and for students who want to take their painting skills to the next level.

Course program

First Lesson: Painting a landscape
In this lesson we will paint winter landscape. Your child will learn the basics of perspective and colour blending.

As they paint scenes from nature, children not only develop artistic skills but also gain a sensitivity to the beaty thar surrounds them.
In this lesson we will learn focusing on one specific object - in this case a blooming branch of lemons.

We will learn how to mix different shades of green and yellow and create oval shape of lemon.
Second lesson: Painting an object
In this lesson we will create a cute illustration of an owl and learn how to create realistic feathers, blend different shades of brown and work in dry brush technique.
Fourth lesson: Painting a bird
Third lesson: painting a tree
In this lesson we will learn how to create soft transitions on the background and use many colours to create bright elements of the artwork.

In the end we will have a beautiful artwork of a tree on a sunny day.
What is included in the course:
Four 2h art sessions
All materials: canvas, acrylic paint, use of brushes etc
A drink (water or juice) for every session

The course teacher
Nina Kokhtashvili - A graduate of the School of Fine Arts, she developed her personalized style working in oil paint on canvas and producing portraits in the “Dry brush” technique. Inspired since her childhood by mythology, she projects the magical and mysterious spirit in these creations.
Filigree patterns, fine lines, transparent details add a touch of sensual femininity to all of these works. Member of the European Academy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Inspiraria exhibits these works in his native country and in Luxembourg.

Since 2018 Nina has been practicing the Neurography method and is currently studying to expand this knowledge in the field of psychology and art, to become an Art therapist.

Cancellation Policy
Please note in case of missed class the fee cannot be reimbursed. In case you need to cancel your participation in the course please note that we accept 10 days’ notice in order to reimburse 100% of the amount and we can reimburse only 50% after this date and 0% from the start of the course. Missed workshops cannot be recovered.
